Đầu giường ánh trăng rọi.
Ngỡ mặt đất phủ sương.
Ngẩng đầu nhìn trăng sáng,
Cúi đầu nhớ cố hương.
Thinking on a quiet night
In front of the bed there is bright moon light
It seems like there is frost on the ground
(I) raise (my) head and gaze at the bright moon
(I) lower (my) head and think of (my) hometown
